Mo Diame was left frustrated after Newcastle United's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The midfielder put his side ahead in the first-half, but Luka Milivojevic's penalty tied things up for the home side.

Speaking to NUFCTV after the game, the Senegal international said: "It's a point that we have to take because if we want to stay up we need points. It's a good point but of course, we always want to win.

"Really it's frustrating to be honest because this is not the first time this happens (where they take the lead and then concede) but as I said before, it's a point because we could have lost this game in the second half. They had good chances to score and it is a good point.

"It is always good not to lose games but of course if you want to stay up you need points and three points is the best.
