Alessandro Diamanti is happy with his first months in China.
The former West Ham United midfielder joined Guangzhou Evergrande in January.
"My acclimatisation in China has been easier than I thought," Diamanti told Bundesligapremier.it.
"Both because of the Italian staff present at the club and because my teammates have been very good and helpful to me.
"The only thing I am struggling with a little more is the hot and humid climate, but I'm sure that's just a question of time.
"The League here is much more competitive than anything you would think. Clubs here have a lot of money available and they are investing it on foreign players.
"Lippi? He was key in bringing me here, it's an honour to be coached by someone like him."
