Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby's injury is nowhere near as bad as first thought with news that he is expected back at training next week.
The Frenchman was injured in the 4-1 win over Bolton on the weekend and was initially expected to be out for up to four weeks but scans have since come back clear and he is free to resume training after the weekend.
Diaby was forced out of Wednesday night's 6-0 Champions League smashing of Braga and will not make the trip to Sunderland on Saturday but should be back in Arsene Wenger's calculations for the following weekend's clash with West Brom.
