Veteran striker Marco di Vaio has signed a new deal with Bologna.

Di Vaio has prolonged his contract for another two years to the delight of the club's fans.

The striker almost single-handedly kept Bologna up in their first year back in the top flight since 2005 when they were last relegated.

Bologna trainer Giuseppe Papadopulo, who joined the club on April 14, has also signed a new one-year rolling contract.
