Marco di Vaio admits he's very proud to be leading Bologna this season.

The experienced striker has been outstanding for Bologna since his move to the club last year.

Di Vaio said: "The team has improved in all three respects: physically, tactically and mentally. For the first time being captain of a team, it is particularly special because this is the year of our Centenary, to me it is a double source of pride.

"My dream is to play in Serie A for my last game with the jersey of Bologna."
