Franco Di Santo will soon be back at full fitness for Wigan Athletic following a calf injury.
The Argentine striker sustained the problem in the 4-0 loss at Manchester United on September 15 and has managed a substitute appearance and a start since.
Latics boss Roberto Martinez has been careful with Di Santo since he came down with the injury but the player himself is confident he will be ready and raring to go after this weekend's international break.
"I am nearly back to 100 per cent and hopefully by the end of this international break I'll be back to where I was," he told the Wigan Evening Post.
"This break is a good opportunity for everyone to work on their fitness as well as skills, and I don't think I am far away from where I want to be.
"I wasn't happy with the tackle at Old Trafford but I also appreciate it could have been much worse.
"That's all in the past now, though, it's forgotten. All that matters is the next game against Swansea (on October 20)."
