On-loan striker David Di Michele is hoping West Ham will offer him a permanent deal in the summer.
The Torino man has been on loan at Upton Park since September but is loving his time in England and would relish a lengthy stay.
"As I have already said many times, I would love to stay at West Ham for a few more years," he told the club's official website.
"I feel good at this club and I really hope Torino will let me stay here.
"But in football you never know what can happen and at this stage my desire can't make the difference.
"It is up to the two teams to find an agreement."
