Roberto Di Matteo admits he may be forced to rest Fernando Torres at some stage this season.
The Chelsea striker has started all 11 games so far this campaign and with Daniel Sturridge currently sidelined, will continue to be the number one attacker for the Blues.
Ahead of tomorrow's home clash with Norwich City, Di Matteo feels that Torres will be fit enough to start again but has indicated there could be a rest soon for the Spaniard.
"It's our seventh game tomorrow in 21 days and he's in good shape, he's very fit," he said.
"But, certainly, it's something we have to look at."
