Roberto di Matteo remains coy over the prospect of taking the Chelsea job permanently.

Di Matteo, 41, has proved so successful in turning a mutinous dressing-room around he is now under serious consideration to land the job permanently.

The former West Brom chief said: "I am very happy to be in temporary charge until the end of the season.

"I'm sure the club will appoint the right man."
