Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria is facing a club fine and perhaps an axing from the first team after his ugly gesture last night.
Upon being hooked during victory over Celta Vigo, Di Maria was the subject of boos and whistles as he left the ground - to which he responded by turning to the crowd and grabbing his nether regions, reports El Confidencial.
Afterwards, Di Maria was asked to explain himself, but he insisted: "It was not a gesture to anyone.
"I don't like to talk, I do my talking on the pitch. It seems the press always want to attack Madrid.
"The coach is on my side. I am calm."
