Di Maria again demands Real Madrid pay-hike

Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria is demanding a pay-hike.

Marca says Di Maria is revisiting the issue, which blew up while he was away with Argentina for the Copa America last summer.

Di Maria currently earns €1.8 million annually, and has a contract that will expire in 2016. His reported aim is to pull in €3.5m per year, which would put him level with team-mate Gonzalo Higuain in earnings.
