Juventus legend Angelo Di Livio has hit out at Italy coach Cesare Prandelli over his 'code of ethics'.
AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi has been overlooked for the friendly with Spain after being caught by TV cameras punching Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi on the weekend.
"De Rossi made a mistake with what he did," Di Livio told Radio Mana Sport. "He got wound up and then he punched someone.
"He was wrong, but Prandelli's code of ethics is a farce.
"He only enforces it when he wants to. Mr Balotelli has done so much wrong without ever being punished.
"Why these double standards? The code of ethics needs revising."
