Di Carlo won't panic at Parma

Parma coach Mimmo Di Carlo is happy with the form of his team, despite still waiting for their first win of the season.

After Sunday night's 1-1 draw with Cagliari, Di Carlo said: "I was happy with the spirit we showed.

"We have to stay tough and keep believing - then the results will come.

"Cagliari have shown themselves to be a decent side as they close down the space well and hit you on the break. We played well, but perhaps in the first half we didn't get the ball down enough to play."

Parma's cause wasn't helped by a missed penalty from Paolo Castellini in the 64th minute, but Di Carlo could even see the silver lining after the ex-Real Betis man's poorly hit spot-kick.

"The missed penalty wasn't a problem because the important thing is that we get them," he claimed. "I'm happy with everyone at the moment."
