Former Lazio captain Paolo di Canio has told Roma president Rosella Sensi to forget about him rescuing the club from their current crisis.

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is under pressure after a dismal start to the season, but Di Canio wouldn't consider the job if Sensi came knocking.

"No never, even in another life, it is unthinkable," said the West Ham legend. "I know that a coach should not say certain things, you should be professional and I do not want show a lack of respect, but there are some limits which I can never go beyond."
