Paolo di Canio holds no grudge against Sunderland.
Di Canio, sacked by Sunderland during the season, is delighted they stayed up.
He told Sky Sports: "I'm pleased for the fans. They're very passionate, so I'm very happy they stayed up.
"We made a miracle (in 2013) because the team came from a very bad run.
"In two years of my career I only had a successful period so that proved my philosophy, in general, is the right one. "
