Desperate Chelsea doing everything to close Lucas deal before deadline
Chelsea are pulling out all stops to sign Sao Paulo star Lucas before next week's transfer deadline.
The Sun says Chelsea officials are in talks with Sao Paulo over midfielder Lucas, 19, who is also wanted by Liverpool and Inter Milan.
And they are confident an agreement can be reached despite a release clause of £66.8m.
Chelsea could go as high as £25m for the exciting teenager who has won 10 Brazilian caps since making his senior international debut against Scotland last February.
Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas is keen to strike a deal for Moura after putting plans to sign Brazilian striker Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk on hold.

When u send players of high quality on loan with the intention of signing similar qualities, i see no sense in it. Of cosU we 've McEachran n he has not been put into full use. We're now talkin about another teen. Pls if the team is acquiring teens, it should give them reasons to sign not signing them and sending them on loan. Up chelsea.
hahaha... Very funny, chelsea's in for lucas moura that moura is so imposible b'cos it's diffult for young talent to shine at chelsea. So, better choose to play for inter milan
