France coach Didier Deschamps is happy seeing Antoine Griezmann stick with Atletico Madrid.

A big money target for Manchester United, Griezmann has declared he is staying with Atletico after their summer market transfer ban was upheld by CAS last week.

Deschamps declared: "It is good for him, he was not lacking in serenity, even if he remains focused on the game.

"These are disruptive elements for all players anyway. The fact that he was already able to make that decision is a good thing.

"Disturbed by the rumors? No, since he made his decision. Obviously these are things that cogitate in their heads and on his own, they are important decisions, but from the moment he took it, the subject is closed."
