France coach Didier Deschamps has sung the praises of imminent Barcelona signing Samuel Umtiti.
The Lyon defender is expected to join Barca after the Euros final.
Deschamps said: "He knows that I have faith in him despite his young age. He is calm, very calm. I have no worries in that respect. The merit is his, his teammates have helped him. He has good mental strength and great character."
He continued: "I already knew him from Olympique Lyon. I have also seen how he has trained with us from the first day. For that reason I first called him up as a reserve and then I included him in the official squad list.
"There are 30-year-old players that are not mature and Sam, at 22, already is. That is incredible. His quality and mental strength are enormous for his age."
