France coach Didier Deschamps is pleased with the progress of Ousmane Dembele at Barcelona.

Having recovered from a serious thigh injury, which kept him out of action for the first-half of the season, Dembele has improved game upon game since January.

Deschamps has been following his form and said: "The summer was complicated for him, which prevented him from being there in September, before his injury, then his slight recurrence.

"He has returned well, I've been able to follow a few matches, and his last performances prove that he has found legs, his juice, with his specific characteristics of speed, his ability to eliminate.

"And if he scores, it's even better. But it's still there - that he has to improve."
