QPR veteran Shaun Derry accepts playing second fiddle to new signing Joey Barton from Newcastle United.
The arrival of Barton has pushed Derry down the pecking order but, having recently penned a new contract, the 33-year-old is happy to play whatever role is asked of him.
He said: "As soon as the season ended, the manager Neil Warnock was very honest with me.
"He told me he would be getting more players in my position.
"Joey's come in and, if it's Joey in that position, that's the game.
"I'm not going to moan about it because I love my job."
