Derby's Todd struggling with injury

Derby County defender Andy Todd is seeing a specialist in an attempt to overcome back and hamstring problems.

Todd, who joined the club from Blackburn Rovers in the summer, has not played for The Rams since the 6-0 defeat at Liverpool at the start of September.

Rams boss Billy Davies confirmed the 33-year-old has sought specialist advice in a bid to resolve the issue.

"Andy is complaining about his back and hamstring and he is seeing a specialist, who is coming in and doing some extra work with him at the moment," Davies told the Derby Evening Telegraph.

"Andy looks uncomfortable and feels uncomfortable.

"Until we get that right, we will just have to keep working with him and hope we will eventually get it sorted."
