Derby's Miller has no Celtic regrets

Derby County striker Kenny Miller insists he has no regrets about leaving Celtic following his former club's success against AC Milan last week.

"No," he insisted to the Sunday Times. "Of course I watched it and I was over the moon for all my friends up there. One of the reasons you go to Celtic is for nights like those. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss them, but if I'd really wanted to be part of it, I wouldn't have moved."

Miller's frustration at Celtic was clear. With Gordon Strachan never quite sure of who to perm from numerous forwards, a first-team place was never secure.

"That wasn't enough for me," he explains. "I didn't want to be in for two games then out for two. All they want is regular first-team football."
