Derby County fullback Tyrone Mears has played down claims he can break into the England squad.
"It's nice when my manager says things like that and other people talking about my performances but, at this stage, I'm not interested in England.
"If it comes, and hopefully it will one day because it's definitely one of my goals, it comes.
"But at the moment, it's about performing for Derby and staying in the league this season. That's all I'm concentrating on.
"If anything come extra, that's fantastic but I've still got a lot to prove in this league."
