Michael Johnson feels he has a part to play at Derby County under new manager Paul Jewell.

Sheffield Wednesday are keen to sign him permanently and there is an 18-month contract on the table, but a few other clubs are also interested.

"I really enjoyed my loan at Wednesday and it went well for me personally," said Johnson. "Now I'll wait to see what happens in January."
