Derby County won't allow striker Kenny Miller to leave on the cheap in the summer.
Reports linking Rangers with Miller said a £1.5m clause in his contract allowed him to leave Pride Park if Derby are relegated.
However, the Derby Telegraph says it is understood there is no such clause in Miller's deal.
The Scottish international joined Derby for a fee believed to be upwards of £2.5m shortly before the window closed in August.
Even if they did consider selling the 28-year-old, the Rams are unlikely to let him leave for much less than they paid.
