Derby County have handed trials to West Ham United goalkeeper Jimmy Walker.
The 36-year-old has been training with the Rams with a view to joining the Championship club as back-up for first-choice Stephen Bywater.
Walker, who began his career in the East Midlands with Notts County, is without a club after being released by West Ham at the end of last season.
After leaving Meadow Lane, Walker made more than 400 appearances for Walsall between 1993 and 2004. He had a loan spell with Colchester last season.
