Derby County have handed trials to Tottenham winger Simon Dawkins.
Rams boss Steve McClaren is checking on Dawkins, who has yet to make an impact at White Hart Lane after making just one senior appearance for Spurs.
Dawkins, 25, featured four times as a substitute for Aston Villa in the Premier League in the second half of last season and has previously had spells at Leyton Orient and the San Jose Earthquakes.
