Derby County are seeking a loan deal for Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Frank Fielding.

Rams boss Nigel Clough is ready to send an SOS to Blackburn's England under-21 keeper Fielding - after Steven Bywater suffered a shock injury.

Clough will ask Rovers to let them have highly-rated reserve Fielding on an emergency loan if Bywater's problem with a wrist complaint needs a lengthy rest.

Fielding has been a Rams target before and could be ready to grab a first-team chance after his Under-21 appearances put him back into the limelight.
