Derby County striker Robert Earnshaw is anxious to kickstart his season.

"I'm no different to any other player - I want first-team football with club and country," said Earnshaw. "I'm never comfortable unless I am on the pitch and kicking a football about. If I get the chance to do well, I will get the goals.

"Anybody who has seen me or knows me realises that I love scoring goals - goals are my addiction.

"I have played a couple of games for Derby and a reserve team game last week but I feel sharp and the goals will come.

"I love scoring goals and if you play well and score, it does not get better than that.

"I'm ready to go and ready to rumble."
