Derby set to land Leeds veteran Lewis

Leeds boss Dennis Wise has agreed to sell USA winger Eddie Lewis to Premier League club Derby County for an undisclosed fee.

Lewis, 33, has travelled to Derby for talks and a medical, where he hopes to link up again with manager Billy Davies.

Lewis was part of the Preston North End side managed by Davies, who were beaten in the Championship play-off final by West Ham in 2005.

"We have agreed an undisclosed fee for Eddie Lewis with Derby County," read a statement on Leeds' official website.

"Eddie felt that the opportunity to play in the Premier League was too good to miss out on."
