DC United have acquired the services of Conor Doyle from Derby County.
The 21-year old Texan-born striker will spend the remainder of the 2013 MLS season on loan with the Washington club.
Doyle, who joined English Championship club Derby in 2010, has been sent to DC in order to gain first team development which has delighted general manager Dave Kasper.
"Conor is another quality young talent who has advanced international soccer experience for his age," said Kasper.
"This loan will allow us to take a close look at him with an eye on the future. We look forward to Conor's arrival in DC and to integrating him among our strong core group of up-and-coming players."
