Derby County have signed young defender James Tomkins from West Ham on a month's loan - and Rams boss Paul Jewell could not be happier.
The England Under-19 international centre-back caught Jewell's eye when he played against the Rams in the Premier League at Upton Park last season.
"We saw James play against us last season and we were impressed with his performance that afternoon," said Jewell.
"He is a good young player who will train with us for the first time on Friday and he can have an important role to play for the club."
