Derby County are likely to bring in Rob Edwards on loan from Blackpool.
The 28-year old English-born Welsh centre-half is set to sign a deal which will see him join the Rams until the end of the season.
Edwards is struggling to force his way into Ian Holloway's squad at Bloomfield Road and is keen on gaining regular first team action, which is sure to get at Pride Park.
