Derby forced to wait for Rangers keeper Carroll

Derby County's interest in Rangers goalkeeper Roy Carroll is still on hold.

Manager Paul Jewell had hoped to bring the Northern Irishman last week but the move stalled when Rangers were unable to find a replacement, says the Derby Telegraph.

Derby had hoped to resume the deal later in the transfer window but the Scottish club are still searching for a goalkeeper and talks have not yet restarted.
