Derby eyeing Sheffield Utd striker Hulse

Derby County are believed to be eyeing Sheffield United striker Rob Hulse, reports the Evening Telegraph.

Rams manager Paul Jewell refuses to be drawn on speculation as he looks to reshape his squad for the Championship following relegation.

Kris Commons, Paul Connolly and Jordan Stewart are being linked strongly with moves to Pride Park and now Hulse, who joined the Blades from Leeds United for £2.2m in July 2006, is thought to be on Jewell's wanted list.

The 28-year-old started his career at Crewe Alexandra and 51 goals in 131 appearances alerted West Bromwich Albion, who paid £750,000 for him in the summer of 2003.
