Derby County hoping to send Doyle to Colorado Rapids

English Championship club Derby County are looking to send Conor Doyle out on loan this summer.

The 21-year old American centre-forward joined the Rams in 2010 but has failed to force his way into the first team at Pride Park.

Doyle is back training with the Colorado Rapids for the second time in as many months and Derby boss Nigel Clough is pushing towards a MLS loan if it can be arranged.

"Conor is training full time with Colorado Rapids, which is good," Clough told the Daily Telegraph.

"A six-month loan spell would do him the world of good. We just want to get him playing some games.

"If not in America, we will try and get him fixed up in England."
