Derby County boss Billy Davies has urged fans to be patient with new USA international midfield signing Benny Feilhaber.

"We know he is good with the ball, we know what he is all about but he is a young lad," said Davies. "We identified him as a project, if you like. A young player who is emerging on the international scene, a young player full of attributes, and a player we can improve.

"Now we have to be patient, work with him on the training ground and give him time to settle in."
