Derby boss Jewell wants to keep Arsenal kid Barazite

Derby County boss Paul Jewell has admitted that he would like to keep Arsenal winger Nacer Barazite on loan until the end of the season.

Sunday's visit of Ipswich is set to be the final game of Barazite's stay at Pride Park with the 18-year-old's loan spell due to expire on December 31.

"We will look at it nearer the date. We would like to keep him until the end of the season but whether we can or not, we are not sure. We will just have to wait and see," said Jewell.

Holland Under-19 international Barazite has made 17 appearances - 11 of them starts - for the Rams.
