Derby County boss Paul Jewell is backing Emanuel Villa to prove his value in next season's Championship.

"It is difficult for a striker to come into a team that isn't creating chances but Tito is getting better all the time and he will be a lot better with a full pre-season behind him," said Jewell. "He is an outstanding header of the ball, as good a header of the ball as I have seen.

"I don't think he has missed a chance since he has been here because he has not had any. We don't create that many.

"I think he will score a lot of goals in the Championship."
