Derby County boss Paul Jewell admits he plans to use the Premiership loan market to help their promotion campaign next season.

Highlighting Everton midfielder Leon Osman's form since a spell he had with the Rams, Jewell said: "It's terrific to see a young local lad who has a great head on his shoulders and he's even talked about as a possible England player now - so there are some jewels out there at Arsenal, Man United, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and the like - the top teams.

"It would be good if we could maybe prise some away for the first season to help us to get where we want to be."
