Derby County boss Paul Jewell admits they're already planning for next season in the Championship.

"We are trying to put things in place now in order to do deals in the summer," said the Rams manager. "We are selling Derby County to players as a Championship club because we cannot hide from the position we are in.

"But what we are saying is that if we are going to go down, we desperately want to come back up and Derby County, I feel, will certainly be one of the biggest clubs in the Championship.

"There was no game at the weekend and so we took the opportunity to go and have a look at a few targets."
