Derby County boss Paul Jewell has declared their move for Rangers goalkeeper Roy Carroll is still on.

Asked if he felt the deal was dead, Jewell replied: "No, I don't think so.

"It's one I've been trying to work on but it's taking its time, which is frustrating. There might be some more news this week."
