Derby County boss Paul Jewell has admitted that an injury to Giles Barnes is 'not good news' and that the club are now seeking a second opinion from a specialist.
The Rams are concerned over the health of the 19-year-old, with reports suggesting he has damaged his kneecap, but Jewell is seeking further advice before confirming the full extent of the problem.
"It's not good news," said Jewell in the Derby Evening Telegraph.
"We are sending him for a second opinion. It is not cruciate ligament damage but until we get a second opinion we will not know too much more."
