Derby County boss Billy Davies is full of praise for his second-choice goalkeeper Lewis Price.
Price put off joining up with the Welsh squad for 24 hours to play for Derby Reserves against Fulham on Monday night.
"He asked if he could play because he felt he needed the game," said Rams boss Davies.
"We contacted the Welsh FA and they were quite happy, and so were we. For his own peace of mind, I think he needed that game just to get his eye in and it is a first-class attitude."
