Derby County boss Billy Davies is ready to pay big for Norwich City striker Robert Earnshaw.
Davies' troops finished third in the Championship thanks to a number of hard-fought 1-0 wins - and beat West Brom by the same scoreline in the £60million play-off final at Wembley.
But the Derby chief knows clean sheets are much harder to keep in the top flight so wants a bigger goal threat - and feels Canaries frontman Earnshaw is the right man for the job.
The 26-year-old has netted 27 goals in 47 games since leaving The Hawthorns 18 months ago - and Davies is ready to put a bid of around £5million on the table to prise him from Carrow Road.
