Derby County boss Billy Davies is confident he can cut-it in the Premiership, despite Saturday's 5-0 home defeat by West Ham.

He said: "That's obviously a question that everybody asks. When you win the Premier League someone says have you got what is takes to win the Champions League? When you win the Champions League, someone says have you got what it takes to win the World Cup?

"I've lost no confidence. I know exactly what I've got.

"If I'd spent £30-40million at this football club and we were sat in this position, I'd be asking myself questions.

"We've got to show more character, we've got to show more discipline in our play.

"We'll look at the videos. We'll again show them some of the things that have happened in the game. We will continue to work hard."
