Derby boss Davies admits loan exits likely

Derby County boss Billy Davies admits many of his fringe players could be moved out on-loan in the coming weeks.

A number of scouts attended the Derby's 1-1 draw with Fulham reserves this week to look at potential loan signings.

"I think there could be a lot of activity over the next couple of weeks," Davies predicted. "We have had one or two calls about one or two players but nothing concrete.

"We are looking at the bigger picture and at what we have to do over the next couple of months as we turn this football club around by moving bodies out and in."

Marc Edworthy, Lee Holmes and Jon Macken are featuring for the Reserves but have yet to figure in the first team this season.
