Derby County boss Billy Davies admits he's already looking to the January market.
"There is a massive gulf between us and the rest and we still have a lot of work to do in the transfer market," said Davies.
"It was always going to take two or three transfer windows to bring in the quality we need to move up a step with regards to competing. But, as the chairman has stated, for the first time in many years Derby County have come out of transfer window with money in the bank for the next one."
