Derby County boss Paul Jewell has confirmed there has been interest shown in striker Steve Howard from other clubs.

Jewell told BBC Radio Derby: "I've had one or two clubs enquire and ask what I was doing with Stevie - but no offers on the table - or nothing like that.

"Now that he's scored his first goal against Manchester United I'm hoping he can go and score a few more for us."
