Derby County manager Paul Clement has stated that under-pressure Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is one of the few people who can manage a top club.
Van Gaal finds himself under intense pressure at United after a bad run of results and many believe that the Dutchman could be shown the door if the Red Devils suffer a defeat in the 4th Round FA Cup clash against Derby on Friday night.
Clement was full of praise for van Gaal ahead of the game and believes that the 64-year-old still commands respect as he is one of the few men who can handle the pressure of managing one of Europe's biggest clubs.
Clement said: "He's one of many coaches who have spent his career at all the big clubs. I think he's well thought of, from a coach relatively new to this.
"Van Gaal, [Jose] Mourinho, [Carlo] Ancelotti, [Guus] Hiddink, [Pep] Guardiola, he's part of that group.
"When you look at the big clubs - Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United - there are very few people who can do those jobs, and he (Van Gaal) is absolutely on that list."
